ITDS is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Lisbon, offering a hybrid work model. You will design and enhance automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Playwright, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and drive test strategies across web, API, and mobile platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, strong framework design skills, and hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Playwright, and Git ecosystems. Fluent English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years of QA automation experience with framework design and implementation.
• Hands-on with Robot Framework, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
• Practical knowledge of Playwright and its advantages over Selenium.
• Experience automating web, API, and mobile tests.
• Deep understanding of test automation best practices, reusability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsabilidades

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the IT and digital solutions industry. You will contribute to designing and enhancing automation frameworks that leverage advanced testing tools such as Git, Robot Framework, and Playwright. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through innovative automation solutions, supporting the company's growth and technological leadership in the market.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust automation frameworks using tools like Robot Framework and Playwright, ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile platforms, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to define testing strategies and cover critical workflows.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement best practices in automation by following principles such as Page Object Model, modular design, and dynamic waits.
• Lead efforts to improve test coverage, reduce flakiness, and enhance overall testing efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging automation tools, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve testing processes.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on framework design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Practical knowledge of Playwright and its advantages over other tools like Selenium.
• Experience automating web, API, and mobile tests.
• Deep understanding of test automation best practices, reusability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Communicative level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• ISTQB or similar certification in testing.
• Knowledge of advanced testing methodologies, including risk-based testing and test data management.
