Job summary

Veeam in Lisbon's R&D office invites you to join our Quality Assurance team. You will work on Veeam products, perform functional checks, exploratory testing, and verify real usage scenarios to ensure that “Veeam just works.”

The role requires a technical education background, 1–2 years in system administration, software testing, or development, and strong knowledge of Windows or Linux, plus networking basics; English for daily collaboration in international teams.

Qualifications

• Technical education background required or strong passion for technology.
• 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development.
• Strong motivation to grow professionally in software testing.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of networking technologies (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration).
• Curiosity and attention to detail with hands-on testing.
• Clear logical thinking and strong common sense.
• Fast learner with enthusiasm for challenging tasks.
• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Deep diving into our products, technology and profession.
• Analyzing software requirements.
• Testing one or several Veeam products.
• Communicating with other participants of the product development process.
