Job summary

Axians Portugal is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of digital products across the software development lifecycle, with focus on automation testing, manual testing, or a mix depending on the project.

You will define testing strategies, perform API, integration, UI and end-to-end tests, develop automated suites, support performance testing, manage defects, and integrate testing into CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of performance testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Integrate testing activities into CI/CD processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and contribute to testing strategies.
• Perform API, integration, UI and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing activities.
• Support performance and non-functional testing.
• Manage defects and quality reporting.
