Devopsroles in Porto seeks a QA DevOps Engineer to own the quality automation strategy for the software platform. You will design, build and maintain automated test pipelines that catch issues before production, providing fast, reliable feedback on every release.

You will design test suites across functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing, integrate them into CI/CD, and develop performance tests to measure latency, throughput and error rates under load.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong background as QA/Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or software engineer focused on quality.
• Proven experience building automated test frameworks and API testing.
• Experience with performance/load testing and interpreting results for decisions.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain automated test suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop performance and load testing frameworks to validate services.
• Define and improve QA processes, plans and release quality criteria.
• Build test infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3).
• Collaborate with software, firmware and DevOps teams to embed testability.
• Monitor health and performance in test environments with dashboards and alerts.
• Own test data management and environment strategy for reliable tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD tooling and runbooks, promoting quality-first mindset.
• Document test strategies and tooling for the team.
