YouTube in Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework and Selenium. You will work closely with product and development teams to ensure thorough test coverage and reliable release quality.

In this role, you will design and implement test automation frameworks, analyze defects, report progress, and mentor junior QA members while staying current with industry best practices.

Qualificações

• Experience with Robot Framework and Selenium for automated testing.
• Ability to analyze defects and suggest fixes to improve product quality.
• Experience mentoring junior QA team members and guiding test strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain test cases and scripts using Robot and/or Selenium.
• Execute and analyze automated tests to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in design and implementation of test automation frameworks.
• Investigate and report software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress and results.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools related to test automation.
