Shore in Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer fluent in French to join our engineering team. You will design and execute automated tests with Playwright and contribute to test automation.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure quality across web applications. English proficiency is required.

Qualificações

• Proven QA automation experience with Playwright in a modern web stack.
• Hands-on test management with Xray for Jira.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC and Agile practices.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or Playwright.
• Gitolite? (Note: confirm applied actual skills)
• Fluency in French is mandatory and English is required.

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer fluent in French to join our engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications by designing and executing manual and automated tests, contributing to test automation, and promoting QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Principais Responsabilidades:

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Perform manual functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and executions using Xray for Jira.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation practices.

Requisitos mínimos

• Proven experience in QA Automation with Playwright (Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with Xray for Jira and test management.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Professional fluency in French (mandatory) and English.
• Experience with BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin), performance testing (e.g., k6), or ISTQB certification is considered an advantage.
