Consort in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Frontend Python Developer to join our AI-enabled platform team. You will build frontend with React, write backend services in Python, and work across international environments.

You will collaborate with DevOps, data, and security teams, implement data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native solutions while upholding quality and security.

This role offers hybrid work, permanent contract, salary 35k–46.5k EUR gross annually.

Are you passionate about AI-enabled platforms, modern web applications, and cloud-native technologies? Then this position is for you.

As a Senior Frontend Python Developer, you will contribute to the development, evolution, and support of a cutting-edge AI platform designed to enable intelligent business solutions at scale. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality frontend and backend components while supporting platform adoption across international environments.:

Build side:

• Develop and enhance frontend applications using React and modern web technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations using Python.
• Contribute to the development of data pipelines and data preparation processes.
• Integrate and manage APIs to support platform interoperability and scalability.
• Support the onboarding of new business use cases and environments.
• Collaborate with technical leads, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in the industrialization and optimization of cloud-native AI solutions.
• Contribute to playbooks, standards, and best practices to accelerate deployments and onboarding activities.

Run side:

• Provide technical support for existing applications and AI-powered platforms.
• Monitor production environments and proactively address incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure application stability and performance.
• Support vulnerability remediation across application, security, and dependency layers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical debt reduction.
• Assist in platform operations, user onboarding, and environment management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, MLOps, Data, and Security teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python and frontend technologies. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working in agile environments, and contributing to innovative projects involving data and AI technologies.

This is your expertise:

• Strong experience with Python development.
• Solid frontend development experience using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee or equivalent).
• Knowledge of data pipelines and orchestration concepts.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices and secure development principles.
• Knowledge of cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Experience with AI-related platforms, RAG pipelines, Airflow, or orchestration tools is considered an advantage.
