Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Porto. As a Python Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Python programming language. You should have experience with biometric passport systems and be able to work with complex data models and algorithms. This position is ideal for students looking to gain valuable experience in the field of software development while also earning a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain efficient and reliable Python code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the software development process
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing systems
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest improvements to current systems

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role
• Experience working with biometric passport systems is preferred
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
