Founded in 2008, KCS IT, based in Lisbon, seeks a Senior Python Developer to join a hybrid team delivering client solutions across multiple sectors. You will own end-to-end Python development, write clean code, and collaborate with cross-functional groups.

The role requires at least five years of Python experience, a CS/CE/SE degree, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid Lisbon setup. Nice to have AI/LLM, cloud, and DevOps exposure.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of professional Python experience.
• Degree in CS, CE, SE or similar technical field.
• Strong ability to write Python code autonomously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with software testing and automated tests.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern dev practices.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Lisbon, Portugal.

The amazing you, will have:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Python.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Strong ability to write Python code autonomously, without depending on AI tools to develop the solution.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical problems and identify effective solutions.
• Experience with software testing, including writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, clean code and best practices.
• Residence in Lisbon, Portugal, with availability to work in a hybrid model.

Nice to Have

• Professional experience with LLMs (Large Language Models).
• Experience integrating and developing solutions using AI/LLM APIs.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
