AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and improve vulnerability management across CI/CD pipelines.
You will integrate SAST/DAST/SCA, tune scanners to reduce false positives, and help define automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns with product teams.
The role offers flextime with remote and office options and the chance to work on Fortune 500 and top product company projects.
Competenze
- 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Proficient in Python for automation and scripting.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
- Experience with AppSec tooling or security architecture.
Mansioni
- Integrate security gates (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
- Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives.
- Develop automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
- Provide code-level remediation guidance to product teams (Java/Python).
