Forvia is seeking a Purchasing Trainee Buyer to join our sourcing team in Portugal. You will support market research, KPI monitoring, and price updates, helping secure high-quality components for our operations.

The role emphasizes English fluency, teamwork across functions and a proactive, analytical mindset. You will learn procurement processes, contribute to savings opportunities, and grow in a dynamic, international environment that values curiosity and collaboration.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As a Purchasing Trainee Buyer, you will play a key role in our purchasing team, responsible for sourcing and securing high-quality components critical to our operations. Your main missions will include :
1. Create Purchasing Performance :

• Conducting market research to identify suppliers and trends.
• Identify savings opportunities through supplier benchmarking
• Participate to supplier negotiations
• Lead resourcing actions
• Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships

2. Reporting and operational support:

• Update and monitor KPIs
• Prepare monthly reporting
• Monthly price update & Invoices Management
