Generix Group is seeking a Junior Project Accountant (French Speaker) in Porto to support the Finance and Professional Services teams in the administration and financial management of customer projects. You will contribute to accurate project invoicing, profitability monitoring and data management in an international SaaS setting.

You will assist in project creation, ensure data integrity, monitor budgets and revenues, and help identify variances for timely action.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, controlling or sales administration.
• Proficiency in English and French; Portuguese is a plus.
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and management tools.

Mansioni

• Support project invoicing and ensure milestones are met before billing.
• Monitor project budgets, revenues, costs and margins; identify variances.

Project Accountant Junior (French Speaker)

Within the Porto Shared Services Center, the Junior Project Accountant supports the Finance and Professional Services teams in the administrative and financial management of customer projects. The role contributes to the quality of project invoicing, profitability monitoring, financial data management, and continuous process improvement.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in project financial control within an international SaaS environment. Participate in the creation and maintenance of projects in management systems. Ensure the consistency and accuracy of project financial data. Monitor project budgets, revenues, costs, and margins. Identify variances and alert the relevant teams.

Billing and Revenue Management

Prepare the information required for project invoicing. Verify compliance with contractual milestones before issuing invoices. Ensure reconciliation between contracts, customer purchase orders, and invoicing. Contribute to the monitoring of revenue recognition.

Operational Team Support

Support Project Managers on administrative and financial matters. Respond to internal inquiries related to projects. Assist in resolving invoicing or data-related issues.

Reporting and Control

Prepare regular financial reports. Participate in monthly closing activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and internal controls. Maintain data quality within financial systems.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Previous experience in accounting, auditing, controlling, or sales administration is a plus.

Technical Skills

Comfortable working with ERP systems and management tools. Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.

Languages

Professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory. Fluent Portuguese.
