Jobtailor in Portugal invites a dedicated Mathematics teacher to join our school community. The role focuses on planning engaging lessons, differentiating instruction, and assessing student progress in line with the curriculum and external assessments.

A PGCE or QTS (or equivalent) and a passion for student wellbeing are essential. You will collaborate with colleagues, contribute to a positive learning environment, support families, and engage in the co-curricular programme while pursuing

Qualificações

• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching credential.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate students.
• Expertise in assessing student progress and providing feedback.
• Experience delivering Mathematics lessons aligned to curriculum and external assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging Mathematics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum, policies, and external assessment requirements
• Individualise and differentiate learning so each student is stretched, supported, and makes outstanding progress
• Assess students' in-class and at-home learning regularly and provide targeted feedback
• Establish a positive classroom and school environment where students feel valued, supported, and ready to take learning risks
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the learning community
• Pursue personal professional development to maintain the highest standard of education
• Participate actively in the co-curricular programme, including leading clubs and contributing to whole-school initiatives
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents and build partnerships supporting student progress
