Job summary

TE Connectivity in Evora, Portugal, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Leader to steer a high-impact team in e-mobility production. You will drive operational excellence, ensure quality, and support serial output targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead root-cause analyses with 8D and other quality tools, manage audits, develop documentation (FMEA, Control Plans), coach staff, and promote Lean practices to raise performance across processes and products.

Qualifications

• Graduate or engineering degree.
• First leadership experience.
• Quality-conscious and precise.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer complaint handling using FRB/8D methods and root cause analysis.
• Act as primary customer contact during escalations with clear, timely communications.
• Drive continuous quality improvements by analysing KPIs and leading improvement projects.
• Own and maintain quality documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, QIPs) and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Support production to achieve serial output targets and ensure process validation and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement and standardisation initiatives across processes and products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ME, QE, maintenance, and programming; participate in DRBFM reviews.
• Organize and lead customer audits and close audit actions.
• Manage and develop Manufacturing Quality team, coaching and Kaizen facilitation.
• Apply Lean principles (Gemba, LPA, 4DX) to drive accountability and performance.
