We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a technology-driven environment, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering product initiatives aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical, business, operations, and compliance teams, ensuring clear requirements, effective prioritization, and a strong focus on measurable delivery and business value.

Experience within the payments and transfers domain will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product strategy, and regulatory deadlines.
• Translate business needs and customer requirements into clear, actionable functional requirements and user stories.
• Work closely with technical teams across APIs, integrations, mainframe systems, and digital channels, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and delivery remains focused on business value.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from functional definition and planning through development, testing, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to identify dependencies, resolve issues, and remove delivery blockers.
• Define and monitor product KPIs and performance metrics, using objective data to track progress, product quality, and business outcomes.
• Ensure the quality and usability of delivered solutions by promoting appropriate validation, testing, and feedback practices.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Business, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Engage with external stakeholders when required, ensuring alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, product performance, and delivery efficiency.
• Ensure that product initiatives are delivered on time, with a strong focus on value, outcomes, and problem solving.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in an equivalent product-focused role within a technology environment.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience contributing to or defining API-based product solutions.
• Experience defining, analysing, and monitoring product KPIs and metrics.
• Strong understanding of product delivery processes and the ability to track progress through objective and measurable indicators.
• Strong delivery-oriented mindset, with a focus on business value, outcomes, and problem solving.
• High degree of autonomy, pragmatism, and critical thinking.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in the payments/transfers domain will be considered a strong advantage.
