Brief Description

Hybrid for Portugal residents

We are looking to hire a Product Operations Specialist to join the ONE team at our new Portugal office located in Guia, Albufeira. Our ideal candidate is someone willing to roll up their sleeves as both an individual contributor and team collaborator to provide operational excellence across our travel product verticals. The primary focus of this role is to work closely with Scottsdale’s Supplier & Product Operations team to execute back office functions and standard operating procedures necessary to support our suppliers and marketplace products to ensure that our end users have a positive and seamless booking experience.

What You Will Do
  • Work closely with Product Owners and other internal stakeholders to complete operational tasks, including reporting, analysis, data entry, and processing booking requests, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Engage with external suppliers to facilitate requests and gather information necessary to achieve the ask
  • Proactively follow up with management daily or weekly on task progress and completion status of delegated assignments
  • Escalate inquiries, issues, and concerns to internal management in a comprehensive and timely manner
  • Skillfully troubleshoot common product or service issues and offer effective recommendations to management
  • Update standard operating procedures and related documents as needed
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the team's success.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background and/or experience
  • Demonstrated experience of 1-3+ years serving in an operational/administrative capacity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Exceptional phone communication skills, coupled with active listening abilities
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and adept at navigating various computer programs
  • Skilled in working with standard operating procedures and adhering to best practices
  • Act with a sense of urgency to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of tasks, processes, and reports assigned
  • Highly organized with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task complex scenarios with ease
  • Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to meet the needs of the team
Schedule
  • Afternoon/Evening schedules to align with US operational hours
Office Location
  • Guia, Albufeira 8200
  • Periodic site visits required as scheduled by management
