Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance requirements are integrated from product ideation to launch.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents for compliance processes.
• Present new product initiatives to the Compliance organization.

• Maintain a central compliance playbook and approval workflows.
• Conduct product risk assessments with Compliance Risk team.
• Outline a regulatory framework digestible for teams to operationalize.
• Present new product initiatives to the Compliance organization.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents to enable compliance implementation.
• Liaise with Product and Operations to meet regulatory requirements pre- and post-implementation.
• Consolidate requirements across jurisdictions and identify efficiencies.
• Ensure documentation reflects new products or enhancements.
• Provide regular reporting to Compliance Leadership.

Overview

MoonPay is hiring a Product Compliance Manager to ensure MoonPay’s products and services are designed and operate in full compliance with global and local regulations. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal and Risk teams to ensure compliance throughout the product development lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of crypto, blockchain technology and the regulatory landscape.

What you will do

Product Compliance

• Be embedded with Product and Engineering to ensure that compliance requirements are incorporated from product ideation through launch and ongoing management
• Serve as the primary compliance liaison for Product, Engineering and Design teams you’re aligned with
• Consolidate compliance requirements from various stakeholders
• Highlight potential areas of disconnect or opportunity between compliance requirements and business priorities
• Identify, escalate and facilitate conversations between compliance stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and consolidated requirements
• Maintain a compliance playbook that centralizes regulatory requirements, documentation needs, checklists, and approval workflows for all new products or enhancements
• Work closely with the Compliance Risk team to conduct product risk assessments for new products or enhancements, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies
• Work with Compliance Leadership to outline a comprehensive regulatory requirements framework that is easily digestible for product, engineering and operations teams to operationalize
• Present new product initiatives to the greater Compliance organization

Project Management (Compliance Operations)

• Develop Business Requirements Documents to facilitate implementation of compliance processes with Operations and Product
• Liaison with Product and Operations to ensure all regulatory requirements have been met, pre- and post-implementation
• Consolidate requirements across jurisdictions and identify efficiencies or areas of optimization
• Ensure all necessary documentation (internal policies and procedures) are updated to reflect the new product or enhancement
• Provide regular reporting to the Compliance Leadership team on new products or enhancements and progress on implementation

About You

• 5-7 years of experience in compliance
• Professional experience in cryptocurrency required
• Proven ability to collaborate with others, both internally and externally
• Knowledge of global regulatory agencies and regulations
• Experience with risk and compliance requirements in various global jurisdictions
• Strong analytical thinker with the ability to identify and assess risks
• Excellent problem-solver with the ability to develop and implement solutions
• Effective communicator who can explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of regulations

• Professional certifications (CRMP, CRCM, CCEP, etc.)
