Amadeus in Lisbon is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead a full stack mobile and backend team building Travel Ready Native solutions. You will design scalable architectures, mentor engineers, drive best practices across mobile and backend systems, and collaborate with product and DevOps to enable reliable deployments.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience with Azure, containers, CI/CD, and an Agile mindset.

Qualificações

Extensive experience as a senior software engineer or technical lead.
Comfortable working across mobile (iOS/Android) and backend systems.
Strong knowledge of API-driven architectures and mobile lifecycles.
Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD automation.
Familiar with Agile development practices.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain high-quality solutions on mobile and backend components.
Contribute to the full product lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including production rollouts.
Apply coding best practices including secure development, reviews, testing, and refactoring.
Design scalable architectures for performance and resilience.
Collaborate with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness.
Suggest improvements to reduce technical debt and improve engineering processes.
Share knowledge through mentoring and internal sessions.
