Amadeus in Lisbon is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead a cross-functional mobile and backend team building the Travel Ready Native solution. The role focuses on scalable architectures, end-to-end product lifecycle, and mentoring across disciplines.

You will emphasize secure coding, CI/CD, GitOps, and Azure-based delivery, collaborating with DevOps to ensure deployment readiness. A strong background in iOS/Android and API-driven systems is expected, with a drive for innovation.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience as a senior software engineer or technical lead.
• Comfortable across mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and backend systems.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architectures and SDK constraints.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred), containerization, and CI/CD automation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high-quality solutions on mobile and backend components.
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, feasibility, planning, and delivery.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including during production and rollout phases.
• Apply coding best practices, including secure development, code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
• Design architectures that consider performance, resilience, and user experience across mobile and backend systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure reliable CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and deployment readiness.
• Suggest enhancements to reduce technical debt and improve engineering processes.
• Share knowledge through mentoring, collaborative sessions, and internal community events.
