Chain IQ in Lisbon is seeking a hands-on Architecture role to design and evolve distributed systems that rely on APIs, event-driven patterns, and automation pipelines. You will define how services interact and how workflows execute, ensuring platform coherence, scalability, and operability with product, engineering, data, and security.

This role shapes AI agent interactions, multi-tenant patterns, and observable, reliable behavior through strong monitoring and workflow-state visibility.

Qualificações

• Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Strong experience designing distributed systems or platform solutions
• Background in automation, workflow orchestration or complex application design
• Ability to reason about system behavior over time, not just point interactions
• Comfort working directly with engineers and reviewing implementations
• Clear communication and structured thinking
• Ability to balance flexibility with consistency across teams

This is a hands-on architecture role focused on real system behavior, not abstract diagrams. You work closely with product, engineering, data and security to ensure solutions are coherent, scalable, and operable.
