What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Primary and Middle School Arts Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire creativity, foster artistic expression, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality arts education to primary students, integrating visual arts with other subjects and themes for Primary and some Middle School classes.
• Develop and implement a dynamic, student-centered curriculum aligned with the Portuguese National Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through active, inquiry-based, and project-based learning.
• Connect artistic concepts to real-world issues, sustainability, and cultural awareness.
• Promote the integration of technology and digital tools in the arts.
• Support students in interdisciplinary initiatives such as project weeks, exhibitions, and workshops.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and artistic growth.

• Strong classroom management and curriculum development skills.
• Familiarity with active, inquiry-based, and project-based learning methodologies.
• Ideally fluency in both English and Portuguese.
• Digital literacy and a willingness to integrate technology into arts teaching.
• The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students and families.
