Job summary

EliteHosts in Faro, Portugal is seeking a skilled Turner to operate and maintain machine tools to shape metal parts to precise dimensions. You will read blueprints, set up and adjust equipment, and inspect finished parts.

This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work with a team in a dynamic production environment, and readiness to grow technical skills with cutting-edge tooling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven Turner experience or similar role.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Strong technical skills with various machine tools.
• Good English; Portuguese a plus; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine machining operations.
• Set up and adjust machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot issues during production.
• Ensure quality control standards are met.
• Maintain machinery with regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient production flow.
