Ivy Partners, a Swiss consulting firm, seeks a Power BI Architect to lead architecture for Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI reports. You will design data models, promote best practices, and estimate infrastructure costs while guiding colleagues and collaborating with executives across IT and business units.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Power BI architecture, Azure data warehousing sizing, and strong monitoring/CI/CD capabilities. Fluent English is required.

As a Power BI Architect at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Lead and manage architecture solutions to support Microsoft BI solutions.
• Oversee the design of data models and architectures required to implement performant Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI reports.
• Define and promote development best practices, including security implementation.
• Estimate the level of effort and infrastructure cost necessary to support Microsoft BI solutions and Power BI implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, environments, monitoring, and operability of Power BI reports.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT organizations.
• Lead and mentor junior resources to meet solution requirements.

About you

You are our ideal candidate if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience working with Power BI, having acted as an architect or performed architecture-related tasks in recent years.
• Have experience estimating sizing for data warehousing and Power BI Microsoft solutions in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Are skilled in resolving performance issues and setting up monitoring and alerting for large-scale BI implementations on cloud data platforms, including Gateways, APIs, SPN, SSO, and Embedding configuration.
• Have expertise implementing CI/CD and setting up automated testing for Power BI reports.
• Have been a trusted advisor to client executives and stakeholders, suggesting alternate tools and techniques to solve complex and ambiguous requirements.
• Have strong expertise in Power BI Administration, Troubleshooting, Architecture, and Resource Management.
• Are fluent in English.
