Job summary

Applica Corp. seeks a Software Fullstack Developer to join a high-performing team building digital media and learning products. You’ll design, develop, and enhance web and mobile solutions in an agile, outcomes-driven environment.

You’ll collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks, ensuring quality and security across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Experience building applications that meet high standards for security and data privacy.
• Strong experience developing cross-browser applications using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience working with React-based frameworks and libraries.
• Experience writing unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Experience developing accessible and responsive web pages.
• Experience with frontend tooling such as Webpack, ESLint, and NPM.
• Experience with CMS integrations.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
• Experience developing applications on AWS Cloud (CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS/ECR).
• Experience using monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk) and automated testing frameworks.
• Hands-on with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Strong SDLC knowledge and software engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent English level.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Contribute to application architecture and key technical decisions.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop applications and tools by producing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers to clarify requirements and break down initiatives into actionable tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
• Support design of testable solutions and contribute to automated testing practices.
• Use data and metrics to support technical and product decisions.
• Contribute to software engineering knowledge and promote best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with modern technologies, tools, and development practices.
