Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least two years of experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and QuickBooks, plus English fluency (Portuguese a plus) are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software such as QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Communicate with clients regarding financial information and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
