Reboot Monkey in Porto, Portugal, seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site contract work. You will handle hardware installations, migrations, and structured cabling within premier data center facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in data centers, solid server hardware knowledge, and strong English communication. Caboing, racking, and coordination with NOC teams form core duties.

Qualificações

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Professional communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
