Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a PLM/CAD Administration Support professional in Lisbon to maintain and improve PLM and CAD systems, ensuring accurate technical data and accessible information aligns with daily technology activities.

You will install software, manage user access, review data entries, and provide 1st level user support while collaborating with Technology teams to resolve system queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience administering databases.
• Practical knowledge of PLM and CAD administration.
• Experience maintaining system access, settings and user records.
• Strong written and verbal English; German is desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office, Power BI, databases and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer PLM and CAD systems to ensure accurate storage and retrieval of technical information.
• Install CAD, PLM, Office and related software; manage user access and data structures.
• Review data entries and resolve issues affecting data accuracy or availability.
• Provide first-level user support via tickets and track resolutions.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to address system queries and implement solutions.
• Document administration activities for clear records and auditability.
• Identify opportunities to improve system processes and data quality.
• Offer day-to-day PLM/CAD support across relevant business activities.

As a PLM/CAD-Administration Support professional you will maintain and improve the administration of PLM and CAD systems for an organisation. You will help keep technical data accurate, accessible and aligned with day-to-day Technology activities.

Description

• Administer PLM and CAD systems to support the accurate storage and retrieval of technical information;
• Instalation of different softwares (CAD, PLM, Office, etc.);
• Maintain user access, system settings and data structures in line with agreed processes;
• Review technical data entries and resolve issues that affect data accuracy or availability;
• Support the controlled release (1st level user support - mostly via processing tickets);
• Work with Technology colleagues to investigate system queries and provide practical solutions;
• Document PLM and CAD administration activities to maintain clear and consistent records;
• Identify opportunities to improve system administration processes and data quality;
• Provide day-to-day support to users of PLM and CAD tools across relevant business activities.

Profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum three years experience in handling and administration of databases;
• Practical knowledge of PLM and CAD administration;
• Experience of maintaining system access, settings and user records;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of German is highly desirable;
• Knowledge in MS Office, Power BI, databases and infrastructure;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently.
