Körber Supply Chain in Porto is seeking a PLC Software Engineer to join the Automation Engineering team. You will develop, standardize, and commission innovative intralogistics solutions while collaborating across countries.

You will own software solutions, contribute to engineering standards, produce documentation, and support global teams. Travel up to 20% locally or internationally is expected.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Automation/Electrical/Mechatronics or technical apprenticeship with further training.
• At least 3 years of hands-on PLC programming and commissioning for intralogistics, warehouse automation, or conveyors.
• Strong expertise with Siemens TIA Portal; knowledge of Integrated Safety concepts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop PLC software for intralogistics and material handling systems.
• Harmonize and standardize automation software platforms.
• Own software solutions and define engineering standards and best practices.
• Create technical documentation and training materials for global teams.
• Collaborate with software, electrical engineering, PM, service, and product teams to deliver sustainable automation solutions.
• Support projects and act as a trusted contact for customers and stakeholders.
