Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Platform Engineer (GCP) to build and scale the infrastructure for our AI-driven modernization initiatives. You will work on Java/Go/.NET stacks within a fully GCP-based environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable platform services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in platform engineering with GCP, hands-on data pipelines and BigQuery experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering with GCP.
• Experience modernizing legacy or mainframe-class systems into Java/Go/.NET.
• Background in data architecture on GCP including BigQuery and data pipelines.
• Exposure to consulting or professional services delivery in project-based, client-facing environments.
• Familiarity with AI engineering practices such as harness engineering or spec-driven design.
• Experience with requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with test-driven design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Platform Engineer (GCP) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build and maintain the platform foundations that support an AI-driven mainframe modernization practice, ensuring that systems regenerated in Java, Go, or .NET on GCP run reliably at scale. Working alongside architects and engineers within project pods, you'll focus on the infrastructure and data platform layers that make modernization efforts sustainable long-term.
