About This Role

OutSystems is looking for a Platform Engineer to work as an individual contributor on a team focused on CI/CD for the entire product stack, including infrastructure, services, and low-code applications. The team embraces Platform Engineering principles, building products that provide value and reduce cognitive load on development teams. You will maintain the platform and may perform operational tasks, including solving tickets, as needed.

What You Will Do

• Own and drive initiatives end-to-end, from design to deployment.
• Maintain a “Can do” attitude and foreseeing future issues.
• Lead and participate in daily standups and operational calls as needed.
• Document platform changes and share knowledge.
• Provide production support for deployments and related systems.
• Review, debug, and improve existing code as necessary.

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Mandatory proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Strong experience with AWS technologies; Azure knowledge is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure- and platform-level components.
• Mandatory knowledge of CI/CD for both applications and infrastructure; orchestration based on AWS Step Functions is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure management tools like Terraform Cloud or Spacelift.
• Ability to understand complex architectures and provide low-level solutions.
• Experience with Git-based version control (GitHub).
• Moderate knowledge of Linux internals and Shell Scripting.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills; comfortable collaborating with globally dispersed teams.
