Job summary

PeakNet, a construction company in Funchal, is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team on a contract basis. You will measure, cut, install plasterboard, and ensure precise finishes on walls and ceilings.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of plasterboarding experience, can read blueprints, and work with hand and power tools. This role is based in Funchal with a full-time schedule and requires eligibility to work in Portugal.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut plasterboard to specifications.

• Fill joints and holes with joint compound and smooth with hand tools or machines.
• Finish surface of plasterboard by sanding and applying texture or paint.
• Repair or replace damaged or defective sections of plasterboard.

A construction company in Funchal is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join their team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate should have experience in plasterboarding and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
• Install plasterboard onto walls ceilings and other surfaces
• Secure plasterboard panels using nails screws or adhesive
• Fill joints and holes with joint compound and smooth over using hand tools or machines
• Finish surface of plasterboard by sanding and applying texture or paint as required
• Repair or replace damaged or defective sections of plasterboard

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in plasterboarding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction plans
• Knowledge of different types of plasterboard and their uses
• Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and machines
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials
• Attention to detail for precision work
• Good communication skills

Salary

The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location

This is a full-time position based in Funchal.

Legal Eligibility

The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Portugal.
