UNICEF Portugal is seeking a Planning & Control Specialist to partner with departments and drive budgeting, forecasting and performance management.

JOB PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Planning & Control Manager, this role is responsible for partnering with departments across UNICEF Portugal to support planning, performance management and decision-making.
The Planning & Control Specialist combines strong financial and analytical expertise with a business-oriented mindset, helping leaders translate data into actions and decisions. The role is accountable for budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and business case development, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and organisational objectives are achieved.
By acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, the role contributes to better decision-making, improved performance and a stronger culture of planning and accountability across the organisation.
