What you will do

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-hosted microservices, driving the transformation of legacy and monolithic applications to scalable, cloud-native architectures.
2. Write and deploy high-performing, secure code to production, ensuring alignment with coding standards and performance KPIs.
3. Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and apply new skills to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.
4. Apply Cloud Native Design Patterns and services to build resilient, scalable, and high-availability solutions.
5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
6. Actively engage in continuous learning through training, certifications, and research to stay ahead in the technology space.
7. Foster a respectful and open-minded work environment, providing constructive feedback and supporting team growth.

Must haves

1. Experience: 2+ years of experience with Perl or PHP.
2. Domain Knowledge: Experience in e-commerce, particularly with payment integrations, is preferred.
3. Adaptability: Be truly language-agnostic, with the ability to understand and work with complex, interconnected systems.
4. Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture concepts, including high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security.
5. Agile Mindset: Experience working in an agile environment, with the ability to respond quickly to changing requirements.
6. Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern development tools such as Jira, Git, and Jenkins.
