Qualificações

• 5+ лет профессиональной разработки на PHP в сложных корпоративных средах

Responsabilidades

• Поддержка, разработка и оптимизация бизнес-критичных приложений на native PHP и MySQL

Alongside partners with organizations to drive digital transformation and build high-performing tech teams. The client operates in the higher education sector and has a complex, business-critical platform that supports multiple operational areas and integrates with internal and external systems.

Maintain, develop, and optimize business-critical applications using native PHP and MySQL Modernize legacy systems, including migrating from PHP 5 to PHP 8 and MySQL 5 to MySQL 8 Analyze codebases, understand complex business logic, and identify architectural improvements Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with internal and external systems, including ERP platforms Ensure application stability, security, scalability, and performance Optimize database queries, connections, and processes for high data volumes and concurrent users Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues in legacy applications Maintain and improve backend services, web applications, and internal management platforms Document existing functionality, integrations, and technical processes Collaborate with internal stakeholders on technical solutions and modernization strategies Ensure business continuity during migration and modernization activities

Требования

At least 5 years of professional PHP development experience, ideally in complex enterprise environments Strong hands-on experience with native PHP, without relying exclusively on frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony Solid MySQL experience, including database optimization, query performance, and connection management Proven experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and modernizing legacy applications Experience with complex integrations between systems, APIs, and databases Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and backend development principles Ability to understand and maintain large, complex, and poorly documented codebases Experience identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High autonomy, ownership, and technical decision-making capabilities Будет плюсом: experience migrating applications from PHP 5 to PHP 8, upgrading MySQL databases to MySQL 8, integrating applications with SAP or other ERP systems, Linux environments and server administration, high-volume data processing and synchronization, scheduled background jobs, database connection pooling and performance optimization, systems with interconnected business modules, technical documentation and legacy code refactoring
