Job summary

Veeam is seeking a performance engineer to design and run performance, load, and scalability tests for major product components. You will build realistic test environments, identify bottlenecks, and work closely with developers, QA, and product managers to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in performance testing, strong Windows/Linux skills, and hands-on cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP). A proactive, analytical mindset and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical education or strong hands-on passion for systems and performance.
• 1–2 years in performance/load testing or strong background in system performance.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify bottlenecks and risks.
• Advanced Windows and/or Linux administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with virtualization, networks, CPU and memory aspects.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, and scalability tests for core components.
• Build and maintain enterprise-grade test environments and labs.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with devs and product teams to fix issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis of performance incidents.
• Evolve performance test labs through environment setup and monitoring.
