Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. в Лиссабоне приглашает инженера по производительности присоединиться к команде QA в офисе R&D.

Вы будете проектировать и выполнять тесты производительности и нагрузки на основных компонентах продуктов Veeam, строить реалистичные enterprise‑класса тестовые среды и работать с разработчиками, поддержкой и менеджерами продукта. Требуется опыт 1–2 года в тестировании производительности, знания Windows/Linux и аналитическое мышление.

• 1–2 года опыта в тестировании производительности/нагрузки или сильный практический бэкграунд.
• Умение анализировать тестовые результаты и выявлять узкие места и риски производительности.
• Глубокие знания Windows и/или Linux на уровне администратора/пользователя.
• Понимание элементов системы: CPU, память, хранение, сеть.
• Английский для ежедневного общения в международной команде.

Responsibilities

• Проектирование и выполнение тестирования производительности, нагрузочного и масштабируемого тестирования.
• Создание и поддержка реалистичных тестовых сред корпоративного уровня.
• Выявление узких мест производительности и взаимодействие с разработчиками и менеджерами продукта.
• Участие в анализе корневых причин проблем производительности, отчетность в техподдержку и клиентам.
• Управление лабораториями тестирования: окружения, конфигурации, мониторинг и взаимодействие с IT.

Описание: Veeam is the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in helping organizations ensure their data and AI are fully understood, secured, and resilient to enable the acceleration of safe AI at scale. The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

Задачи:

• Design and execute performance, load, and scalability testing for major components of Veeam products (from requirement analysis and lab design to test execution and results analysis)
• Build and maintain realistic enterprise‑grade test environments, including large infrastructures and complex topologies
• Identify performance bottlenecks and system limits, and work closely with developers, functional QA, and product managers to resolve them
• Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues reported by Technical Support and customers
• Own and evolve performance test labs: environment creation, configuration, monitoring, and collaboration with IT teams

Требования:

• Technical education or a strong, hands‑on passion for systems and performance
• 1–2 years of experience in performance and/or load testing (or a strong practical background in system performance)
• Ability to analyze test results and clearly identify bottlenecks, limits, and performance risks
• Solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux at an advanced user or system administration level
• Good understanding of system internals: CPU, memory, storage, networking
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured thinking
• Motivation to grow as a performance and scalability engineer
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams

• Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including profiling and performance analysis
• Scripting, test automation, or infrastructure deployment experience
• Understanding of virtualization platforms and large virtual environments
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, or similar infrastructure‑as‑code tools
