BaseDynamics in Funchal, Portugal, is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer for a part-time role (20 hours/week). You will perform manual and automated testing, report bugs, and collaborate with developers to improve product quality.

Training and support are provided to candidates new to the field. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or are pursuing it) and have strong English communication skills; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or currently pursuing
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and QA processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent written and verbal English; Portuguese a plus
• Must have visa to work in Portugal

Responsabilidades

• Conduct manual and automated testing of software products to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements
• Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Write test cases, test plans, and test reports documenting testing efforts
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
