Abroad Work is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser for our team in Almada, Portugal. You will ensure product displays meet brand standards, build relationships with store staff, and support promotional activities in retail locations.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, can work independently ~20 hours per week, and holds a valid Portugal work permit. MS Excel experience is a plus, and growth opportunities are available as we expand in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills; MS Excel is a plus.
• Available to work part-time (~20 hours per week).
• Must have own visa/work permit for employment in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

Part Time Merchandiser

Location: Almada, Portugal

We are in search of a skilled and reliable Part Time Merchandiser to join our team in Almada. As a Merchandiser, your main responsibility will be to ensure that our products are properly displayed and promoted in retail stores. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for retail to gain experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Visit assigned retail stores on a regular basis to set up displays, restock products, and ensure they are properly presented according to brand standards
• Build strong relationships with store managers and staff to negotiate prime product placement and gain support for promotional activities
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the sales team about any potential stock issues
• Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer preferences, competitor activities, and other relevant market trends
• Keep accurate records of store visits, sales data, and any other relevant information related to product performance
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for product promotion

Requirements:
