Job summary

BlueHorizon is seeking a part-time land surveyor to join our team in Almada, Portugal. You will conduct surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other data for construction projects, using total stations and GPS devices.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in surveying, at least two years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently outdoors with good client communication; accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a land surveyor.
• Proficient with total stations and GPS devices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys using total stations, GPS devices, and other equipment.
• Collect and analyze data on property boundaries, topography, and other relevant information.
• Create detailed maps and reports based on survey findings.
• Ensure accuracy of data collected during surveys.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Work independently while adhering to project timelines.
• Occasionally work outdoors in various weather conditions.
