We are seeking a part-time interpreter to join our team in Funchal Portugal This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is fluent in both English and Portuguese and looking to gain experience in the interpreting field As a part-time interpreter you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective interpretation services for our clients

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings including meetings appointments and events
• Accurately convey spoken messages from one language to another
• Listen carefully and interpret accurately taking into account cultural and linguistic differences
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality interpretation services

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Portuguese written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of cultural differences between English-speaking countries and Portugal
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary The salary for this position is $1700 per month
