Job summary

NovaMart Procurement is seeking a Part-time Surveyor in Funchal, Portugal to perform field surveys of land and structures using GPS, total stations, and laser scanners. You will record data, create maps and CAD drawings, and ensure measurements meet industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field (preferred), strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field (preferred).
• Experience using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys of land, buildings, and other structures using specialized equipment.
• Record and analyze data to create maps, charts, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to determine project requirements.
• Use CAD software to create detailed drawings of survey results.
• Ensure measurements are accurate and comply with industry standards.
• Travel to various locations to conduct surveys as needed.
