Abroad Work in Faro, Portugal invites a part-time DevOps Developer to join a dynamic team. You will implement and maintain deployment processes and cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and automation through CI/CD practices.

The role requires 2+ years in DevOps, experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred), and hands-on skills in Ansible or Puppet, scripting (Bash/Python/Ruby), and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. Flexible hours offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred).
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Scripting in Bash, Python or Ruby.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure and applications.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the software development process.
• Troubleshoot issues related to production systems and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement security measures to protect our systems from potential threats.
• Monitor system performance and optimize as needed to ensure high availability and performance.
