Job summary

WaveWorks in Braga, Portugal is seeking a skilled part-time Baker to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and other goods. You will join a small team and contribute to daily production in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in a professional bakery, strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with others. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Baker in a professional setting preferred
• Knowledge of various baking techniques and recipes
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake different types of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
• Ensure all products are consistently high quality and meet customer expectations
• Decorate baked goods with creative designs and toppings
• Keep track of inventory and order necessary ingredients when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to food safety standards at all times
