PPOAR is seeking a Part-Time Android Developer to design, build, and maintain mobile apps for clients from Porto, Portugal. This remote role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute across the full mobile development lifecycle.

You will work with Java and Kotlin, Android Studio, and REST APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality apps while following Agile practices.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Part-Time Android Developer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is a remote position with flexible working hours, perfect for someone looking for a part-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of applications to ensure quality and functionality
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Android development
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and refactoring

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Android Developer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Experience with Android Studio, Kotlin, and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Previous experience working remotely or in a part-time role
• Knowledge of iOS development

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month based on experience.

Location

This is a remote position based in Porto, Portugal. However, candidates from other locations will also be considered.
