Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a finance professional in Lisbon to manage operations, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and at least 3 years of related experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and collaborate closely with the BPO to ensure accurate and timely delivery of finance operations.
• Manage purchase orders, receipts and analyze GR/IR accounts.
• Review invoice processing and payments, manage discrepancies, handle vendor queries, create and update supplier master data, and manage vendor account reconciliations.
• Handle claims, perform quality checks, process reimbursements, and resolve employee queries.
• Prepare and support month‑end activities, including accruals, prepayments and payment allocations.
• Work with country/site Finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of critical activities such as SAP implementations, intercompany transactions and reporting activities.
• Partner with key stakeholders to strengthen processes, build strong relationships, and ensure compliance of internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably with exposure to P2P processes.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to independently solve problems and make sound judgments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across the organization.
• Comfortable working independently in a decentralized finance structure.
• Proficiency in professional business English (written and spoken). Proficiency in additional languages, such as Italian, is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (Oracle, Navision, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills.
