Jobtailor is seeking an experienced OutSystems mobile engineer to build and maintain offline-capable apps for Android and iOS. You will design solutions, implement data synchronization, and integrate REST/SOAP APIs while ensuring usability in low connectivity conditions.

The role requires a Mobile Specialist certification, 5+ years with OutSystems, and fluency in English. Based in Lisbon or with travel flexibility, the candidate will contribute to both new development and ongoing maintenance.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with OutSystems across mobile and web applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing mobile applications with offline capabilities.
• Mandatory OutSystems Mobile Specialist certification.
• Strong experience with local data storage, server synchronization and offline/online state management.
• Experience developing applications for both Android and iOS.
• Experience integrating REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Practical development experience with .NET and/or Java.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Based in Lisbon or able to travel to Lisbon as required.
• Immediate or short-term availability strongly required.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing and ongoing application maintenance.
• Develop and evolve mobile solutions for Android and iOS.
• Implement offline functionality, local data storage, synchronization with backend systems and online/offline application state management.
• Work with OutSystems mobile capabilities, external APIs and native mobile services.
• Ensure usability and reliable application behaviour when connectivity is limited or unavailable.
• Integrate REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Implement push notifications and other mobile services.
• Support both new application development and application maintenance environments.
