Bosch Portugal is seeking a Software Development Specialist for a project to secure Bosch competitiveness by transforming our landscape into an optimal and cutting-edge manufacturing IT environment. You will develop and optimize Oracle databases and design Oracle objects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 2–5 years of professional experience in software/database development and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software/database development;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Know-how

• Expertise in Oracle Database Development and PL/SQL;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and optimization;
• Experience designing and managing Oracle objects.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience creating and maintaining Docker images for database development;
• Previous involvement in database migration or modernization projects;
• Experience with Oracle APEX;
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation;
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git);

Languages

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
