Job summary

Nokia’s Optical Architecture group seeks a senior architect to design and implement software platforms for next-generation packet-optical transport products. You will work with Systems Architecture, Systems Engineering and Software Development teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable architectures.

Responsibilities include defining architectural specs, collaborating across disciplines, and documenting concepts for customer documentation.

Qualifications

PhD with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
MSc with 6+ years of relevant work experience in optical transport systems.
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication or related field.

Responsibilities

Define system architectural specifications and requirements for product concepts.
Collaborate with architects and SW developers to establish software architectural specifications.
Translate requirements into architecture and enable cross-functional teams to implement concepts.
Engage with SW teams to provide architecture know-how and ensure alignment with architecture.
Document product architecture and requirements clearly for internal and customer docs.
Investigate feature requests and assess feasibility with stakeholders.
Support product documentation with architectural descriptions and operational concepts.
