A leading digital bank in Lisbon is seeking an Operations Customer Expert to support Irish English-speaking clients. This role involves managing inquiries and resolving issues while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Applicants should have at least 12 months of relevant experience, excellent English skills, and a strong understanding of Irish culture. The position offers a 12-month contract with opportunities for permanence, comprehensive training, and excellent benefits.

About the Role

As an Operations Customer Expert, you’ll handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues efficiently and empathetically. You’ll manage complex cases, support fraud investigations, handle disputes, and escalate when needed, ensuring a high-quality experience for every customer.

What Were Looking For
  • Minimum 12 months experience supporting Irish English-speaking customers in banking or payments
  • Experience with complaints, fraud, and disputes (Mastercard/Visa knowledge a plus)
  • Excellent English (C1+) with strong understanding of Irish culture
  • Proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented
Training & Onboarding
  • 12 days of paid, comprehensive training covering product knowledge, tools, and real-world scenarios
  • Successful completion leads to a formal employment contract
Working Conditions & Benefits
  • Onsite in Lisbon, 40h/week, flexible rotating shifts covering 24/7
