act digital is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Administrator to join an Infrastructure, Production & Security team in Porto, Portugal. You will build, operate, and evolve enterprise OpenShift environments, focusing on the platform itself rather than the applications.

You will manage on‑prem OpenShift clusters covering networking, storage, security, observability, automation, and disaster recovery, in a regulated enterprise.

Qualificações

• Hands-on OpenShift 4.x administration in production.
• Cluster installation, upgrades, lifecycle management (IPI/UPI).
• OpenShift on bare-metal and VMware infrastructure.
• Solid Kubernetes architecture knowledge.
• OpenShift components: Routes, SCCs, Operators, BuildConfigs, ImageStreams.
• OpenShift networking and RBAC at scale.
• Proficiency with OC, kubectl, and YAML.
• Experience with monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Loki, EFK).
• Professional English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Install, upgrade, and maintain OpenShift clusters across Development, Staging, Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Manage cluster networking, storage, security, observability, automation, and disaster recovery.
• Plan and execute patching, vulnerability management, and security hardening initiatives.
• Automate platform operations using Ansible, GitOps, and ArgoCD.
• Support multi-tenant OpenShift environments via namespaces, quotas, and onboarding processes.
